Spur Giving Network

In partnership with

We want to help you amplify your fundraising opportunities in Delaware to continue to provide services to the community.

A good coach and partner can provide expert advice on a wide range of topics, from fundraising and marketing to strategic planning and program development. They can act as a sounding board or thought partner and they can also help to identify and address challenges or to develop and implement solutions.

We believe that through working together we can create a relationship that is collaborative and supportive. Our process is designed to combine responsiveness to your unique needs with our knowledge of fundraising, marketing, strategic planning, board development, and the broader philanthropic landscape.

Here are some of the ways that the Spur Giving Network can help you!

  • Whether it is for growing your fundraising skills, developing your leadership abilities, or any number of other reasons, our 1:1 coaching is designed to support you wherever you are in your journey.

  • Having an updated Strategic Plan can provide a roadmap to answering difficult questions by being a guide for decision-making, priority setting and resource allocation.

  • At the heart of any successful nonprofit is an engaged and focused Board.

Whether its a small, volunteer led organization where the board delivers the programming, or a medium to large nonprofit with a fully staffed team, your Board can help in so many ways. Spur Giving can work with you to support you board members by:

Creating policy and procedures that make a board volunteers role clear and easy to understand.

Onboarding new board members or offboarding board members who are leaving the organization.

Training board members on the role of nonprofits, what a nonprofit is, and what their expectations of service are.

Coaching them through the different roles board members can play in Fundraising (they can all play one!).

  • Having a yearly calendar that helps set the strategy, timeline, allocation of resources (finances & staff time) is a wonderful thing!

The Spur Giving Network has given me the confidence I need as the sole employee and Executive Director for my organization! The coaching calls keep me on track and provide actionable feedback. Within a short amount of time, deaeyc has updated policies and procedures resulting in the onboarding of seven new board members, drafted fundraising and communications calendars, as well as supported Giving Tuesday and year-end fundraising appeals. It is a terrific support!

I cannot recommend the consulting services provided by Jennifer and Adam highly enough. They were professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping not only me, but Goldey-Beacom succeed. They provided expert guidance and innovative solutions that helped me create long and short term planning and communication to alumni and staff, as well as ideas for engagement, content and marketing. Their personalized approach made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. They helped me to see who I am as a fundraiser and what I am capable of (not to be afraid of the ask!), and I looked forward to our calls every few weeks. I truly valued our time together not only as a client but as a friend and fellow nonprofit advocate.

I am so grateful for their expertise and support, and I hope to work with them in the future. Thanks to all of you for your exceptional service!
— Amy Diamond, Events and Alumni Engagement Coordinator, Goldey-Beacom College
The consultants’ experience and knowledge were top notch, especially for a newer non-profit. They shared so many of their resources, and their advice was always spot-on.
