Spur Impact developed and operates the Delaware Gives™ platform (DEGives.org), an online fundraising platform where nonprofits and individuals can create online campaigns to raise money for nonprofits. Since the platform was launched in 2019, it has been used to raise over $5 million for local nonprofit organizations.
DelawareGives™ is also the primary platform used to cooderinate DoMore24 Delaware, which is an annual 24 hour giving day used to support Delawarean nonprofits.
The DEGives.org website allows anyone to create a fundraiser and invite people to donate to a specific nonprofit, as well as help nonprofits manage event registration and donations. The website offers a mobile-optimized and user friendly experience that makes it easy for any donor (or organization) to create a fundraising page on behalf of one of the nonprofit organizations on the website and make donations.
The Delaware Gives platform is made possible by funding from the Longwood Foundation, Welfare Foundation, Laffey-McHugh Foundation, and others. Spur Impact is advancing a statewide effort to connect the next generation of community leaders and other professionals and leaders to start thinking more critically about nonprofit and community service, including becoming more financially supportive of causes they care about. We hope the Delaware Gives platform becomes a key resource for the entire Delaware community to learn more about the great nonprofit organizations serving the population of our State.
