As part of this exciting national movement, Spur Impact is proud to partner with Delaware Association for Volunteer Administrators (DAVA), the State Office of Volunteerism, and Volunteer Engagement Accelerator, Angela Williamson, CVA to provide FREE learning opportunities designed to strengthen volunteer engagement.

Volunteer Engagement Accelerator
Angela Williamson is a volunteer engagement leader with over 20 years of experience in museums and nonprofits. She currently serves as the Volunteer & Community Relations Specialist at the Blood Bank of Delmarva and leads Volunteer Engagement Accelerator Consulting. She grew volunteer engagement by 400%, scaling teams from 60 to 300+ active volunteers while improving retention and satisfaction. Experienced in museum and medical nonprofits and leading the DAVA board. A past president of DAVA and 2022 AL!VE Impact Award recipient, she’s also a NOVAA 101 instructor and frequent speaker. Angela’s work is driven by a personal mission to build meaningful connections that lead to positive, lasting impact.

On June 23, people across the United States will come together for a new National Day of Community action, an opportunity to show up for one another through simple, everyday acts of generosity.
TogetherTuesday is part of GivingTuesday’s partnership with Be The People, a national call to action connecting community-led organizations with Americans ready to help solve problems, share stories of contribution, and inspire others to do the same. It builds on a simple idea: when people see generosity in action, it inspires more of it.
Whether it’s checking in on a neighbor, volunteering with friends, sharing a skill, making a donation, or organizing something small in our community, TogetherTuesday is about making care visible through shared action. There’s no registration required and no single way to participate, just a moment to take part alongside others across the country.
When millions of people act on the same day, it creates a shared sense of momentum and reinforces that generosity is something we practice year-round. As a mid-year moment between GivingTuesday celebrations, TogetherTuesday helps carry that spirit forward and keep communities engaged throughout the year.
