Peer to peer fundraising is a passive fundraising opportunity for stakeholders to help support an organization’s fundraising goals by creating unique and personalized peer to peer fundraising pages (or child fundraisers).
Peer to peer fundraising is a great way to encourage individuals to take pride in their partnership with your organization. It may even create a little friendly competition on which peer to peer fundraisers can bring in the most new donors to the organization or raise the most dollars. The possibilities are endless.

Setting up a peer to peer fundraising page:
Navigate to [copy your organizations Delaware Gives URL: https://www.degives.org/orgs/[nonprofit’s name]
Click the “start a fundraiser” button on the nonprofit’s main page and follow the on screen instructions. (You will need to create a Delaware Gives user account using a valid email to check/use as part of this process).
After the page is created, it will generate a fundraising URL that will be linked from the main [nonprofit’s name] page on Delaware Gives. You can further customize your fundraising page from your administrative dashboard (accessible from the menu when you are logged into the website).
Congratulations you have successfully set up a peer to peer fundraising for [Nonprofit’s Name]! You can share your fundraising page URL over email, through texts, or on social media and encourage your friends and social networks to support you by making a 100% tax deductible donation. You (and [Nonprofit’s Name]) will get an email notification anytime a donation is made to your page. Every donor receives an automated email receipt for their donation.
