To advance our mission, we help organize several different events. We also partner with other organizations to support or promote other events focused on young professional leadership and development, nonprofit service, and civic engagement.
Delaware Charity ChalLenge
The Delaware Charity Challenge is the area’s premier charity “Race-to-raise” event of its kind. This fun and unique fundraising and athletic competition designed to give organizations, families, and individuals a fun way to raise money and awareness for their favorite causes. Delaware Charity Challenge competitions currently include the Winter Games (a Run, Row, Bike Indoor Triathlon), the Spring Games (a 5K and Adventure Challenge Relay competition), the Race Across Killens Pond (a 5K in Kent County), and the First State Duathlon (a trial run, bike, run duathlon). Since these events started in Spring 2015, participants have raised more than $165,000 for different nonprofits they support.

The Millennial Summit is the region's premier experience where young professionals, impact players, rising stars and innovators come together to connect and grow. #MILLSUMMIT inspires attendees to learn how to speak up and get involved with their community, grow professionally, and connect with visionaries and innovators who are moving the needle. More than 600 people attended the second #MILLSUMMIT in 2018. More than 1,000 people attended the 2019 #MILLSUMMIT.
The #MILLSUMMIT Arts Initiative, a subcommittee of the Millennial Summit, also regularly organizes or partners with organizations hosting happy hour events focused on promoting local artists, art, and culture, including the #ArtShots networking events.

Pursuit of Health and Wellness Expo
The Pursuit of Health and Wellness Expo and is an annual health fair that takes place the first Saturday of the year and aims to connect individuals and families with organizations that support and nurture a healthy lifestyle. The event has become the largest health fair in the region and takes place concurrently with the Delaware Charity Challenge Winter Indoor Triathlon. The 2019 event drew more than 800 attendees and 70 different exhibitors, with between 400-500 attendees in the Expo hall during each hour of the event.

Nine Innings of Networking Job Fairs / delawarejobfair.net
We operate the Delaware Job Fair website, which provides information about public job fairs and similar recruiting events in Delaware. We also organize the Nine Innings of Networking, a job fair and networking event held at the Wilmington Blue Rocks Frawley Stadium, which gives attendees a unique opportunity to meet with prospective employers and enjoy a ballgame afterwards. Data from employers participating in the Nine Innings events shows that they offer interviews to an average of 10% of attendees, while extending offers to 20% of those who interview.

Delaware Difference Makers
The Delaware Difference Makers is an informal networking consisting of professionals who work in or with the Delaware nonprofit sector and whose work substantially impacts Delaware and the Delaware Valley. The Delaware Difference Makers meet monthly for coffee and networking and informally discuss topics relevant to the sector. The website also has a calendar for nonprofit events and other job, board, or volunteer activities.
